Huge news for Sawyer fans! Mia Z will be joining Sawyer as the supporting act for his West Coast tour! We will finally get to hear them sing "Stranger" on stage together!
The "blue-eyed soul singer" with a sultry, unique style of original music, Mia Z is the third generation of a family of musicians who still share the stage. Mia Z was on Team Pharrell during season 8 of "The Voice" and made it to the Top 12 round before being eliminated. Finding herself voted off the show, she turned up in Pharrell William's studio where he took her under his wing and produced her first single, "Child,” which hit #1 on the iTunes blues chart. Mia Z released her debut CD "The Beginning" at age 13 and is currently working on an EP available soon. Recently, Mia Z and Luke Wade, "The Voice'' Season 7, released their rendition of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough.” Her duet with Sawyer, “Stranger,” is on Sawyer’s self-titled EP.
Mia Z joined Sawyer at the Mercury Lounge in New York City in September 2015. Click here to see a video of them performing “Ain’t No Sunshine When She’s Gone.”
